Minnesota Security Deposit Demand Letter
Minnesota gives a landlord 21 days after termination of the tenancy and receipt of the tenant's mailing or delivery address to return a security deposit. Miss it, and the tenant can claim up to 2× the amount withheld. This letter states that in the statute's own words, with your deadline, days overdue and the amount you can claim already computed.
